Relaxing herbal tea

Supplies

  • Rose hips
  • Fragrant rose
  • Lemon balm
  • Lavender flowers

Preparation method

Pick the herbs and flowers early in the morning. Preferably use the hips of rose hips, which are rich in vitamins.

  1. Remove the stem and crown from the rose hips and cut them into quarters. Use two good sized rose hips from the common rose, and some more if you picked them from a regular rose bush.
  2. Pick the petals from the rose, tear them in half and put them in the teapot. Never use roses from the flower shop because they have often been sprayed.
  3. Remove the leaves from a sprig of thyme and place them in the teapot. Add three or four sprigs of lemon balm and lavender if desired.
  4. Pour boiling water over the herbs and let them steep for 5 minutes. Pour the tea through a sieve into a cup and sit quietly in front of it.

Mint tea

Supplies

  • 50 g fresh mint leaves
  • 25 g dried mint leaves
  • 600 ml of water
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 knife
  • 1 glass teapot
  • 1 sieve

This is how you make delicious mint tea

Preferably use spearmint or peppermint. Although they taste different, both types are equally effective against stomach disorders. Drink the tea to combat heartburn, flatulence, colic, nausea and slow intestinal function.

  1. If you use fresh mint, you must wash it first. Remove woody stems. Then chop the leaf finely.
  2. Place the chopped mint in the teapot and slowly pour the boiling water over it.
  3. Place the lid on the teapot and let the tea steep for 10 minutes. Strain it and drink as much of it as you like. The infusion will keep in the refrigerator for 48 hours and can be reheated over a low heat.

Tip: Children much prefer to drink spearmint tea. Green tea has a milder effect on the organism anyway.

Juniperberry oil

Supplies

  • 115 ml mild almond oil
  • A few drops of gin essence

A very tight-fitting bottle to shake the mixture.

This is how you make the oil

Juniper essence smells nice and relaxes muscle pain and fatigue. Moreover, it activates the defense mechanism, making you feel like a completely different person, both mentally and physically.

  1. Very carefully pour the almond oil into the bottle. Don’t let a drop go to waste, because the oil is very expensive.
  2. Add 10 drops of juniper essence. If you want a strongly perfumed oil, add 25 drops.
  3. Close the bottle carefully. Keep it upside down and shake two or three times so that the ingredients mix well.

Caution To prevent irritation to eyes and throat, you should never massage your temples or face with this oil.
