Stones, constellations and color therapy

Gemstones can be used for healing, but can also be personally assigned by the character of the person who wears them. You base this on their zodiac sign. There are various types of stones, each with their own effects. Some people use color therapy to relieve ailments or stress. But a large geode, for example, looks beautiful in the room and thus emits positive energy in a certain room.

Tumbled stones

Tumbled stones are stones that have been rocked back and forth in a drum with water and sand, this way the stone has a stronger vibration so that it can release its energy better. These stones are rounded and slightly smoothed by tumbling. They are ideal to be used for laying on. In a drum hematite, for example, you can discharge and charge stones if you notice that they are not performing as well.

Geodes

Geodes are gemstones that contain hollow spaces, lined with crystals, and can be used to spread energy and protection in a specific space. A geode looks like a large pebble from the outside. However, if you break the stone open you will see that it contains crystals. Which crystals depend on what was in the water where the stone developed. These can be different crystals such as:

  • rock crystal
  • amethyst
  • citrine
  • calcite
  • smoky quartz
  • chalcedony
  • agate

The crystals themselves can have the following colors:

  • white
  • purple
  • yellowish
  • gray
  • blue grey

Colors of the stone

The colors of a gemstone are determined by the chemical composition of the stone itself. The chemical composition of a stone is and will remain the same forever, it determines the color. If a stone contains other substances such as manganese, iron or silicon, this gemstone can also be found in other colors. There are various colors of jasper, tourmaline and beryl, but other stones can also be colored differently due to their origin.

Color therapy

Some people use color therapy to solve their ailments. Each color has a different vibration and therefore also a different function. A distinction is made between warm colors such as yellow, red and orange or cold colors such as blue and green. Black absorbs all light while white has no color and therefore reflects the entire light spectrum. This is how certain colored stones work in color therapy:

  • Green stones make the heart stronger, they release feelings and stimulate the activity of the liver and bile
  • White or colorless stones strengthen the condition you are already in
  • Black stones calm the energy flows, but also strengthen mental resistance and have an analgesic effect
  • Red stones promote the libido and sexuality of the body, they stimulate blood circulation and make feelings (negative and positive) more intense than before.
  • Yellow stones have an uplifting effect and strengthen the immune systems
  • Blue stones have a calming effect and help with anxiety. In addition, they stimulate the functioning of the kidneys
  • Stones that are violet or purple strengthen the lungs and brain performance by receiving more oxygen. These color stones also have a liberating effect
  • Orange stones promote metabolism and blood circulation, making you happier

Hardness stones

Gemstones are distinguished by their hardness, color and mineral structure. The hardness degree is determined by the hardness table according to Mohs, which actually examines how soft or hard the stone itself is by carrying out a small test. The hardest stone is a diamond, which has a hardness of ten and cannot be scratched. A diamond itself can scratch all gemstones. Gemstones have an average hardness between 6 and 7, but there are of course exceptions. These are the stones that can be ground to drink with water or mixed with water into a paste to be rubbed on a painful place.
